Dark Girls: Preview from Bradinn French on Vimeo.
Clips from the upcoming documentary exploring the deep-seated biases and attitudes about skin color---particularly dark skinned women, outside of and within the Black American culture. The clips in itself are so emotionally charging, and profound. I see a little of what I experienced in it. I wouldn't trade my dark skin for anything, and I hope that you feel the same if you rock that deep dark mahogany brown buttered skin!
Loc & rock on my sisters! Rise above hatred, rise above ignorance, rise above in love!
Stay Blessed & Happy Locing!

Wow....just wow.
I can't wait to see the rest of the documentary. This should be viewed by every person of color in the Western Hemisphere. Maybe then we can awake from our color-scheming madness and stop the name-calling, ignorant comments and toss the skin-bleaching creams in the trash.
Thanks for sharing....
Well said Bebedee, I know this film is long overdue; and I hope it has a positive impact on our community.
This film is long over due... I can't believe that Black girls still feel this way about themselves. I'm a dark skinned Black girl myself and I love me. I know that God made no mistake on me. Black girls love yourself. In order to get thought this notion that you are ugly or less than you have to love yourself and believe in yourself. I love all my Black girls dark, light, whateva.
