Loc'd Beauty of the Month

This weekend has been both inspiring, and humbling! Last month, I was selected by Business Las Vegas Magazine as a Woman to Watch for 2011. Then this Saturday afternoon I was named an ambassador of peace by the United Peace Federation for establishing Purple W.I.N.G.S. Organization. To be able to sit amongst those chosen was indeed overwhelming, and an awesome experience. 

Then on Sunday evening, my friend took me to see Celine Dion (the pic above). I had a blast! Celine's voice is everything. Honey, she hit notes I never knew existed, and scatted so good I almost lost my reserve! So today, I am relaxing with my darling daughter. I want to get mani's & pedi's, eat ice cream, and just be. 

So I thought hey, its my birthday month, and I feel I embody the essence of what being a Loc'd Beauty means. Accomplishments aside, its about feeling great inside, taking care of your outside, living a life of service. I do those things...I live my life to uplift, encourage, and inspire women and girls. I am surrounded by great friends, family, and peers in the fight of elevating women. 

I love the members of On the Road to Queendom, and just want you all to know you can have it all! You can do anything you put your mind and heart into. You have to believe, work hard, put God first, and just strive for greatness!
