Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness Month



207,090 new cases of breast cancer was reported in 2010. There has been 39, 840 deaths due to breast cancer. Learn more here.

An estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by an intimate partner each year. 85% of DV victms are women. One in ever four women will experience DV in her lifetime. Most cases are never reported read more here.

Do your breast tests in the shower, or in front of the mirror regularly. If you know someone or if you are being abused, get help immediately. Victims of Domestic Violence suffer in silence. You can intrude by calling the police anonymously. You might save a life.
