The lovely and very accomplished Jameka Whitten! Who says you can't have beauty and brains too?

With an extensive background in journalism, communications, business and marketing, Renaissance woman Jameka S. Whitten is poised to take the entertainment industry by storm.

She is the owner of JSW Media Group, a public relations, marketing and brand management firm focused on the entertainment, fashion and publishing fields. Jameka was the Co-Founder and former Executive Creative Director for SOTAC (State of the Arts & Culture) Magazine, www.sotacmag.com, a full-color glossy publication based out Charlotte, NC. Jameka left her position with SOTAC at the end of 2007. In addition to owning JSW Media Group, Jameka is also a managing partner with the|FASHION HOUSE (www.the-fashionhouse.com) and Amped 4-A-Cure (www.amped4acure.org).

Aside from being an entrepreneur, Jameka is a model, actress and speaker available for commercial, editorial, event hosting and runway assignments. Jameka holds a bachelor's in Communication Studies with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and a Master's in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix.

She is an avid reader, community activist and also manages to write poetry in her spare time, thus earning her the nickname "Poetri"-the model poet.
