One question for my Queens; If you love God, and you hate your natural self, then how can you hate what God has given you? How can you hate what is made in his own image?

Great question. I ask this very same question to my aunts who are supposedly saved and sanctified yet they talk down to me, because I choose to wear my hair natural. They never give me a good answer. They just always use that "your hair is your crowning glory" rant.
I must agree. As a Christian who stopped perming my hair many years ago I never really understood why we who profess God as perfect (making no mistakes) seem to think that our natural selves needed to be altered in some way to meet a "perfect" standard. Oh and the hair as your crowning glory saying is just one of many misinterpretations of Biblical texts. One day we'll all get it.. until then, keep posting things that make us ask "why?". Peace
