Okay Queens, here is the official trailer to Chris Rock's new movie..."Good Hair," it documents Black Women's haircare, etc.
How do you feel about this? What will this do to our women's already "Low Hair Self-Esteem?" As far as the trailer goes, I don't see any representation of Natural Haired Black women who are natural and loving it. This could have really been our moment to let the world know how we truly feel about our hair, and just how beautiful we are!
Your thoughts please...
Stay Blessed & Happy Locing!

I really, really hope and PRAY that Chris will set the record straight about black hair, letting the world (beginning with black women) know that our hair IS Beautiful AS IS!!! WHATEVER OUR IS, IS!!!
Me too Melinda...b/c if not this will all be just for laughs, at our expense. But I think it will be ok, especially since he has his own beautiful lil' Princesses
I believe that this movie is just gonna put on front street what the majority of black women and men think about our hair. Natural hair wearers did not make the hair care industry a billion dollar industry, so what are really saying about our hair as a people? That's what Chris Rock is bringing to the screen. Now will it be a joke or will it be an eye opener?
I am not sure if I am going to go see this or not...I would hate for it to glorify perms and silky weaves by showing ignorant Black women saying how beautiful it makes them feel, etc. His "message" could be lost there.
