For those of you who care, here is Ms. Tyra Banks showing her "real hair" of course its still bone straight with a relaxer. I didn't even bother to Tivo this episode because I knew it wouldn't be anything to rush home to. Still at least she let her scalp breathe for the day.

Yeah, I was disappointed also, apparently she has been "lyed" 2 4 so long that she does not even know what the term "natural hair" means. She is really confused. Natural hair is not the absence of weaves and other artificial hair but rather refers to the texture that hair is as it grows from the scalp!!!

I'm not in the market for dissing anyone but Tyra's hairline looks like it's disappearing. I chose not to waste my time today watching because personally it was a show about not wearing weaves Not about anything natural for that matter. Sorry big zero for me.
I saw little snips of the show on Entertainment Tonight and the first thing out of my mouth was "It's still relaxed!"
But here is where I was puzzled, I thought women who wore weaves alot didn't relax their hair from fear of breakage. I guess I was wrong and apparently confused.

Yea, most women still relax their hair to try and match the texture of the weave. However, depending on the type of weave it can pull so much at the hairline, which causes receding of the hairline. Also, when people wear wigs too much they risk suffocating the scalp.
